Description
My horse/tiger mix. Critiques are GREATLY appreciated. I'm not entirely convinced with the outcome so far so I plan on fixing some things. Your comments are appreciated.<3 Cyn

MLStevens here.
The ear really stands out. It looks like you did the ear in ms paint cause you forgot or something lol. If you're only going for color, it looks nice. If you were going for a true hybrid, it'd be epic if you made his belly hang a bit like a tigers, maybe give him a tiger like tail.

I really really like how this came out I think the expression on the horse's face helps give it that "tiger feel" not a zebra.

I like the stripes! They look very natural. However, a tiger's stripes don't go on the bottom like that and I think that having stripes on the bottom make it look more zebra-ish than tiger-ish. The expression on the face is amazing.
But I think that you could have blended it into the background more. You cut out the horse of an image and pasted it here, right? I shouldn't be able to tell. xD
A subject must stand out and be sharper, but I think the horse is too sharp and kinda looks pasted on. :/ Maybe use a tiny tiny bit of blur!
But I still like it! ^^ Just telling you what I think.

Thanks :]
I was going for the 'on focus' look. Maybe I didn't get it quite right? I used [link] as a tiger ref so that is where the belly stripes came from.
Do you think it would have been a better idea to continue the stripes from the back to the bottom to give it a less zebra look?

Tigers do usually have stripes that go back their belly, but they have to be closer to the original stripes.
But you're at a disadvantage since putting stripes on a horse makes them usually look like a zebra.
Yes I do. Just continue the strips and have them so that they get thinner and smaller and less near the belly since tiger stripes get thinner as you move toward the white fur.

A bit thin for a horse, but it's a great manipulation! One thing that I notice is that your hybrid looks a bit too glossy and bright, especially near the midsection and belly. Besides that, its phenomenal work!

Thanks I see what you're saying. I should probably alter the lighting a bit more on the horse.
