Oh hey everyone, what's up? Yeah, I totally didn't have like, a half year gap between my uploads or anything, whatcha talking about?
Anyway, this piece sure did take a long time! ...but that's what I say for most of my pics, so what's new, huh? I'm not quite happy with how it turned out, but eh, gotta move ahead to other pics at some point or another.
Going back to basics with simple stuff for the next few pics, probably, landscapes and big environments feel out of my league at the moment. Hopefully that'll speed up my upload rate too, haha!

Love the sloping and shaping of the mountains. Hoping to eventually learn to draw them like this myself - perhaps I'll take this picture as a bit of an example cheatsheet.
Luna and Celestia seal it, of course. Adding them makes most everything better.

I'm super glad you liked the pic! To be honest, I was kinda a little disappointed with how it turned out, maybe because I saw lots of potential for it to be really amazing when I first started it. I guess I have way too high expectations of myself, but eh, I'm sure you'll know the feeling well yourself, being a fellow artist!

Ohh pftt don't worry about it. I start things that I couldn't possibly finish because of over ambition and the results are usually lackluster. But the importance is that it puts you in unfamiliar territory which in itself spawns a whole new area of things to learn. Just got to stick it through, which you did! I'm sure you learned tons as a result of finishing this piece. Best work from you yet!
