Thanks to Content Paradise's Black Friday sale, I finally managed to pick up NearMe! I've been waiting to get this figure for quite a while, as I figured it would make some excellent toon renders. And since I found some free Vocaloid outfits for NearMe, I just had to try them out too

My daughter loves Miku so i grabbed the free outfits as well. I haven't picked up Near Me just yet though. I want to get better at this stuff first. Seeing your pictures though tells me I have a long way to go still. Lovely work!

a-ma-zing. I just love the effect. The shading is so great, it really looks like a 2D drawing.
The model are also nice, I'm trying to model Rin right now myself but I can't figure out how to make the back of her hair. Raaah.
But while searching for references I found this amazing piece of cartoon shader so I guess it is all good. Great work on this!^^
P.S.: Did I mention I liked the toon effect?
