Hi there!
Of course, I don't mind criticism, I treasure it the most from any other type of comment. Now let me explain myself a bit xd. I agree that characters seem out of place, the lighting on them is completely different compared to the bg. After grayscale phase, whille applying color I got too "inspired" by my references which were artworks from Hearthstone. I ended up adding to much color dodge and different light sources with every reference which completely destroyed my grayscale work and of course end result. I have to keep working on that.
As for armor. i.ytimg.com/vi/iPqnRfJNYg4/max… That's how it looks in the game. Again I agree, the scratches, dirt and all that jazz would add to the story of the picture and I'm really upset that I didn't think about it! But hey, lesson learned!
As for dynamism. Lack of it was kinda my intention for storytelling reasons. I wanted to show "the hunt". You don't really know who is hunting whom. Is the hunter hunting red eyed tiger or the other way around? So I wanted that tension, this nervousness. ( I guess I failed a little 
And yes background is pretty sloppy. I like to say it's for focal point reasons but in reality, it is just me running out of time. As for red eyes as you said it was for contrast. Contrast creates focal points if done correctly and it was my intention. I wanted the viewer to look first at the hunter then on tigers.

When i glance at this my eyes wander - there is a lot of stuff to look at! I don't know where to stop... I think the catch here is not in the composition (i really like the diagonal you put here with that spear) but rather in the lighting of the character - it's like a staged light you encounter in controlled environments like photo studio or smt. Here you have a nice jungle and an opportunity to use the light to help the viewer appreciate your complicated creation (like, a strobe on the tip of the spear, and maybe another one shining on his head to accent his sharp look and red mo-hawk). What i do like is the character itself - that gorgeous snarling shoulder plate (!!!) and the armor in general are very detailed. His face is very expressive and has a cool smug look to it
P.S. The teeth on the spear look suspiciously alike to the ones the sabertooth sports... Well, i guess there is no question as to why the sabertooth silhouette looks so pissed heheh

RAWR! What an awesome piece of art. I love the shading job and all the different colors that you used. I think the detail supreme, and you just GOTTA love that blue, quirky face. I think you did a great job, also composition wise, although you might want to add a little more structure to the background because right now it seems like the background is there but only because you "needed to have a background" - if you know what I mean. Perhaps if you highlight the roots of the trees a bit more and add a little more depth it will look a little more realistic. But I love the puma in the BG, he is really sweet. I wish I had puma anatomy down like that

How are there no comments yet?! This is stunning! I like how you made Loque and that the glowiness of the symbols are more subtle. I think the weapon though is my favorite part and how it draws your eye in! Very detailed!
