More Playing with sprite animation. Gonna try animate a whole fight but its taking ages!
Thought would start with some Naruto vs Rock Lee !!
This is what ive done so far. I thought I would upload it now and see what people think, before I spend time doing allot more to it, would be good to know if I could improve things or if its worth carring on?
So far this was about 3 hours work for all of about 3 seconds footage haha! thats at a speed of 0.08 second for 34 frames and 5 frames at 0.1.
So at my current rate of learning its gonna take me ages to do a full fight....

Its done with sweat, blood and tears over many pain staking hours lol !!
I can maybe upload a desktop snap of the work in progress or something? Done in photoshop cs3 extended using animation feature, involes basicaly making a new layer for each frame of animation (which can sometimes be made of up to 4 layers themselves).

Yes I imagine you would have quite a number of layers. It is always nice to see the result and think; ah it was worth it. xD

Its crazy though, worth it but crazy, spend aprox an hour editing for 1 second footage lol !

Well...sometimes I spend 5hrs on one picture. Other people I hear spend 20+ hours on one picture. 0___o but then of course it's a really good.

Ooooh, trust me. It's not as easy as what some people think, and yes, it always take awhile to do only a few second of animation. I know that feeling. XD
So far, it's pretty good. Loved the idea how you made Lee jump from the ceiling and attacking, hitting the ground like that.
You kept the characters moving which is always a good idea. Though, it would be a good idea to make the image smaller for bigger animation.
Just a little small tip. If you want, try putting in some effects like blurring for fast objects/people.

Yeah I found that out! Gotta be pretty spot on or the fluid movement can look really off !! I hate to think how long you must have spent doing Sonic and Shadow clips! As that was painfull enough doing that! Is fun so going to carry this on

I remeber when i first saw ol bushy brows with his pudding basin haircut I hated him, but he more I saw of him he grew on me, then fromthe famous Garaa vs Lee fight he became one of my fav's, such a cool character! Cant use ninjutsu or genjutsu so trained hardcore taijutsu and he kicks butt !! Thats determination !
