part of a mini story I'm working on.

On an unkown moon orbiting a gas giant. The Alpha legion set a trap for the Ultramarines. waiting for their guests arrival, the marines of the Alpha Legion have exsausted their food suppliesand grow hungry and begin to riot against their Chaos lord. Seeing the wildlife being scarce and can't find enough to feed his starving legionaries, he sees an easier, temorrary solution. The one animal that is readily in reach and easier to cull. Humans. Growing sick of the cultists that follow them like flie to a corpes, this is the perfect solution to kill two birds with one stone- remove the persistent nuisance of the cultists and quiet his deprived 'children'.
Of course the cultists were unwilling to throw away their lives willingly to be devoured, as would any creature met with the inevitable result of becoming a prey's meal. In the end the result was obvious who would be the victor in this brief battle for survival. Now free from the vermin that plagued them and able to fill their food stock enough to last until they can hunt the wildlife to fill the gaps left.

Here are the Alpha Legion gorging themselves on the raw remains of their cultists. I would work signifficantly better with the World Eaters with how brutal they are, but until is finished working on them, these dudes will work just fine.
Also the World Eaters' red and brass colours would lend themselves miles better with the orange and copper colour pallet I have here, the Alpha legion contrast too much with their turquoise and silver.
