"Because green is the colour of hope"A quick little fanart of Erwin from Shingeki no Kyojin, done in watercolours in my watercolour moleskine. I had been wanting to draw Erwin for a while, unable to find a good idea, but suddenly this thing here happened. Well!

It's also my Mum's favourite colour, and she always said it's the colour of hope (: I guess that's why I really like the fact that their capes are green.

The colour scheme is pretty bright, making the fade into white very fluid and smooth while using pretty rough edges and lines. This both creates an impression of a passenger looking forward to a better day for me. Especially because of the blood (?) on the left hand.
I do not know the reference. This picture really impresses me anyways!
