You may ask how won earth Helena got into this sticky situation. I suppose its time to throw some hints for the future >D

After a failed Olympics Helena didnt know if she wanted to ever get back into the showring or return to the public sphere again. She had been devastated; not only did she no longer have a horse fit for endurance racing in harpg, but she saw how quickly she was forgotten by clients and the community as soon as she was not among the winners anymore. With Karl and Katy retired she had been feeling imensely lonely with her struggles, but pretended everything was fine not to upset or worry the others at nattvik. It was therefore a welcoming call when Roar contacted her about something that was happening in Vanaheim. The happy feeling didnt last long when she heard how serious the matter really was. Civilian lives were at stake and something was upsetting the dragons and strange creatures had been seen in and around Vanaheim; shadowy figures with aggressive behaviour. Helena wasted no time packing everything and leave with Erythea.

All of that did not really matter when she stood face to face with the ill tempered, almost pained looking dragon however. She felt as though her stomach was filled with ice when they heard the loud growl. Next to her Roar looked a hell lot of braver and in control than she was. To her great surprise, to her other side was the man from last year’s mud skirmish. Just the sight of him rewoked the awkward and uneasy feeling she had back then. Why did he look so condescending?! Under any other circumstanses she would have confronted him, but as the dragon rose to the sky, all three had their hands full handling the situation. Roar signaled that they should better get the fuck out of the dragon’s way until they had figured out a better strategy. As for now, the best thing they could do was kill off the shadow creatures surrounding the area and try draw the dragon’s attention away from the city.
