Description
-The blue bars symbolize the very present Connecticut river.-The three purple bars symbolize both the three wine ranks in the coat of arms and the three words in the state motto, ' Qui transtulit sustinet'.
-The off-white background, besides just looking cool, symbolizes the claim that the Fundamental Orders of 1638/39 were the first written constitution in history, giving the state the nickname 'Constitution State' (off-white mimics the colour of aged paper).

Certainly fits the state's naval theme, and it's better than slapping a state seal on a rectangle and calling it a day. Great work!
