Oops I forgot to upload this like a month ago when I finished it. Anyway, pretty self explanatory, a chart showing the relative sizes of the TF Legacy Season 1 characters.
I tried to stay away from "mass shifting" as much as I could because I'm not very fond of the concept. The most notable exceptions are the seekers; they're probably half the size they would be if they stayed jet-size, but it's sort of necessary when otherwise they'd be towering over their fellow Decepticons. Other than that, Stormcloud is probably a little smaller than she ought to be, and although Scavenger is smaller than he should be as a 374DL, he's still within reasonable size for a small/medium-sized excavator model so I don't mind as much.
Conversely, Arcee and Bonecrusher are significantly larger than they should be - in Arcee's case it's because I didn't want her to be utterly dwarfed by even Bumblebee, and with Bonecrusher I wanted him to be physically imposing even among the rest of the Decepticon ranks.

I honestly don't remember, but I got Creative Suite 3 (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) at a huge discount because I was a student at the time. Adobe products are very pricey (more than they deserve to be, IMO) but since I'm a graphic designer by trade they're pretty much a necessity. There are a number of free alternatives to Photoshop you might want to look into, though. I have heard good things about GIMP and Paint.net in particular.

Nice designs and art. This is actually what inspired me to do my own Transformers project, even though mine is going to be more like G1 than Animated. Just one question: is Starscream supposed to be bigger than Optimus Prime and Megatron?

Has anyone noticed that Jazz looks more like a Nissan 370z than a Mitsubishi Eclipse?

Well, I mentioned it in my most recent Journal, but I don't think anybody noticed/cared. He's going to get a vehicle mode change when I do revisions. I just like how the 370Z looks a lot more than the Eclipse, and they're similar enough in shape that it doesn't affect his transformation/robot mode.

Cyraptor, did you make every alt mode part, or at least tried to make every alt mode part in scale with the real thing? I mean Starscream's wingspan doesn't seem to match the f-22's wingspan, for example.

Kinda-sorta-not-really. I talk about it more in the description, but the jets are explicitly much smaller than they should be. The other guys are meant to be roughly in scale with one another.

I noticed that most of the Decepticons are quite large compared to the Autobots. Reminds me of Transformers Animated.

I still haven't figured out my size chart yet. In fact,the only one I've drawn is Bumblebee and Brakedown. I know that Prime would be a foot shorter than Megs' ,Megatron will in fact be in his Cybertronian form for the first series. Hailstorm would be taller than Jazz, Wheeljack, RAtchet, and Cliffjumper. Dreadwing, Screamer, Thundercracker, and Skywarp would roughly be the same size. Soundwave,Arcee, and Swindle I got no idea.

It's okay, I call him Blackout half of the time too. When I decided on having a Decepticon helicopter named Cyclonus I didn't know he was going to end up looking so much like Blackout. I may just end up changing his name.

For Arcee, I agree.
But there is also one thing which is of different size than it should be. And that are the kids. When you will try to put them into the any car, especially Alex, they will dont fit in there, or more accurately will look like they are adults. At first glance I thought Bumblebee is smaller, but now when I am studying it, it is the same problem with all cars.
And one interesting, but not important thought. And it is Megatron and Bonecrusher. Their alt modes are M1 Abrams and TOS-1 Buratino, which is build on chassis of T-72 tank. Here, Bonecrusher in manner of chis chest is nearly two times wider than Megatron's. When I will put the side skirts of the tracks, it is pretty much the same, only that the ration is not fully two times, but more around 1,7-8 times. The interesting thing is, that Abrams is in dimensions larger than T-72, and so TOS-1

Yeah, I know about the kids being probably a little too big in comparison to the cars. Part of it's because I didn't want the robots too big in comparison, but it's also because their proportions are exaggerated being cartoons and all (especially Alex). If we assume Jake is just shy of 6 feet tall, and proportion him like a real human being, it becomes a little more feasible having him fit in, say, Prowl. But I see what you're saying.
I'm also aware of the discrepancy between Megatron and Bonecrusher's sizes. He should be a lot shorter (and thus less wide) than he is because most of his robot mode mass is in his huge arms. But I wanted him to still be a big burly dude compared to the rest of the Decepticons, so I jacked up his size.
Bonecrusher's legs are fine. The backs of his legs are flat to form the top of the tank chassis, and I don't care if his toes are poking out a bit in the back. Either way, in hindsight I kind of wish I'd picked an altmode other than the Buratino since it's so hard to find visual references for it.

Now, it is the "half-cylinder" part of the legs I mean. This is how Buratino's back look like:

And now matter how I look on it, Bonecrusher's legs cant form into this like real Buratino has it.

Ah, thanks for the pics, I didn't know those support struts were back there. I'll try to work those into the updated design. I'm still not too worried about the legs being half-cylinders, though, since the rounded parts are facing downwards in vehicle mode and can't really be seen.

Not only, but look on how the back is curved, and I am not sure Bonecrusher has them. His feet are straight, so when he will transform into Buratino, the back will be vertically straight, but it cant be like this, you see? I think that these would be somewhere on the back of his legs, maybe.

Yeah, I know what you mean, and I'll try and take that into account when I do the revision. It's actually pretty funny how much those bits on the back already look like feet. In fact, I may just redesign the legs entirely, and have them rotate 180 degrees in transformation so the support leg and its sheath form the heel spur and foot.

It pretty much figures that Optimus and Grimlock would be in the big boy category.
They've always been the heavy hitters of the Autobots. In a fight they'd probably be the best against your roster of Decepticons.

This is super special awesome! I like size charts, hence why I did one for my Movie Beast Wars designs (which you commented on which gave me a small fangasm, no lie). Arcee looks to have undergone a fairly heavy redesign, I like it. Always waiting for more!

Actually Arcee's redesign isn't as drastic as I thought it was going to be, just a new head design and a few minor color tweaks. The only structural change is that now her back wheel splits in half into two semicircles instead of lengthwise like a hamburger bun.

On top of not wanting to push the mass shifting even further, I wanted to keep Starscream and Megatron roughly the same size because I don't want Starscream to seem inferior or submissive by comparison. After all, he was the leader of Megatron's splinter cell until they busted him out of prison.
