History:

Before Birth:
His sire and dam were not mates, but were childhood friends. Both grew up at the same abusive ranch till his mother was sold to the Calvary, meanwhile his father was forced to stay in that prison. Rip was too aggressive to be worked or be sold. He was sick of the abuse and his owner's ways. His owner had two options: put him down or use him for fighting. Guess what he choose? Fighting.

Rip was forced to fight for many weeks for a profit. He didn't want to, but had to keep himself alive. After one fight, Rip escaped during the middle of the night. It was pouring during that night, almost flooding, but that didn't stop him. He kept going until he knew he had escaped successfully.
Rip remained by himself till he stumbled into the Lakota tribe, took him a year and a half to get there. His wounds were healed, became scars. While being there, he saw Miranda again. He was happy to see his childhood friend and crush again, hopefully to reconnect again. But she had no interest, since she had her own family. Rip was extremely angry at this. He felt angry. Extremely angry. He would not take no for an answer

Miranda's oldest son, Musgraves, took a dislike to his behavior and ended up challenging him. Having fighting experience and him being barely two years of age, Musgraves didn't stand a chance. Rip defeated him but kept him alive, for Miranda's sake. He ended up forcing her being his mate. Miranda ended up pregnant with his foal. Rip ended up leaving because he couldn't deal with the humans anymore, and she kept refusing to leave with him.

Birth/ Early Life:
Miranda gave birth to a small foal during the dusk of the last day in October. The night was clear, but the temperature was slowly dropping since the twilight was approaching. She made her young son get up from the long grass that they were resting in and guided him back to Lakota tribe, the place where he will spend his foalhood at.

Cyrus's foalhood was pretty normal, mostly. His father wasn't in his life during that time. After a long recovery, his older brother could fill in the father spot. Musgraves helped his mother raise, train him how to defend himself and some standards of becoming a stallion. The two seemed to get along, but there was one thing the two see eye to eye about. Humans. Cyrus was fine with the Lakota members, but his brother disliked him. He never found out why his brother didn't like them, but he always knew he hated them. Like they did something to him before he came along. Because his mother was an important horse within the tribe, Cyrus got used to them being around him and interacting with him as well.

Leaving the Lakota Tribe:
Once Cyrus became a yearling, he had the decision to stay in the Lakota Tribe, where he will be used for many things within the tribe. Or he had the choice to leave the tribe, to join his brother. A couple months before, Musgraves ended leaving the Lakota and forming a small herd with a few of friends. Wanting to follow his brother, Cyrus left the Lakota tribe and joined his
brother. This saddened Miranda, but she understood why he left and supported him for it. She got offered to join the herd as well, but she refused. Seemed like she was scared to be wild, but no-one requested her. They left her be with her decision.

Stepping up/ Current:
Once he joined the herd, he automatically became the second in command. Which meant he needs to get ready to step up as leader if his brother became absent for any reason. Cyrus started to prepare for this but wasn't ready soon enough when his brother got captured by the Wranglers that were near the area.
Musgraves always seemed to mess with the humans if they got too close to their territory. He always made them chase after him, sometimes making himself get captured. All the time he got captured, he escaped. Not this time. Musgraves got dragged away and became gone for a long period. Which meant Cyrus became the new leader.
Being leader was a struggle for a bit since winter was fast approaching and predators in the area were becoming desperate for food. He had a difficult time identifying different predators, like their foot prints and scents. That led to a lot of fights with
loner wolves and cougars. While patrolling the land, he met a grey fox named Jinx. He seemed to him in the area before, but the small creature was always chased because of Musgraves. The fox was scared at first, since his brother was a foe. Cyrus showed the fox he was an ally. Cyrus gave Jinx permission to live in the area. In return, Jinx helped Cyrus with his weakness.

Currently, Cyrus is still leader of his brother's herd. Been awhile since Musgraves's capture and still hopes his brother returns safely.
