Description This painting should had been completed near the Lunar New Year celebration in February '22. However, because the mood was too expensive, until I couldn't afford a good mood myself, it was finally delayed until this month.

The concept of painting was of course closely related to 2022 Chinese's zodiac. Water tiger.

Initially I had made a design plan where the tiger was white. The flowers were white. However, after much thought, the plan was canceled, because it felt monotonous even though it was not black and white.

In order for the meaning and concept to be deeper, not just because 2022 Chinese year is tiger zodiac, especially when the end of the Chinese year is approaching, I have a hobby of composing stories (including magical evil stories. An example of one of my writings: When Death Comes to You *little advert*), plus alien thoughts are also supportive, so here's an explanation of the concept of my painting—that's enough, yes, it's okay—even though I don't really know how to draw a tiger properly.

The top was dark green plus a bit of dark bluish green. There was no particular reason for the choice of color. Yes— just to clarify the lotus color. Added gold paint, initially wanted to form a leopard motif, but it didn't feel right to be combined with the tiger object. That was why, the result was abstract, while also inserting my own signature.

Then in the background section, below the top dark green. That color was also chosen by accident, so there was no particular reason. It was good, too, giving off the coveted sense of lightness and warmth.

Then added white lines that look like water is pouring down, like life, just live like running water.

Then the golden lines, thought of it as a blessing in life, although not all blessings are always beautiful, but to be grateful.

Despite living in a cage, working desperately for a bite of rice and Apple. But the tragic side is that there are rarely vacations. (Thank God—I'm not complaining, and thankful I still have two hands to express my complex thoughts.)

Pink lotus. Why did it have to be lotus? Because the lotus in my opinion is more closely related to spirituality. I'm not very religious, but I like spiritual things.

Why did it have to be five? Actually I wanted to make six, but I canceled it again. I was tired of painting six lotuses, five of them almost made me somersault in the air with tears in my eyes.

Two lotuses were closed facing upwards, symbolizing there were two parents. One father, one mother (this is one of my best essays). Meanwhile, three lotuses with opened valves. I had been thinking about what sentences were good and easy to read by smart people since February last year...

[The two paragraphs below were copies of my other notes.]

Tridharma / Three Teachings. A mix of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism. Although they come from different beliefs and are not classified as one, basically all of them function to teach goodness and truth.

Life is divided into three time settings. Past, present, future intertwined.

[End.]

Then the tiger was orange striped. Classic for a tiger color.

Why did it have to be a tiger? Under the lotuses, hiding anyway?

The tiger wasn't actually hiding. It was just a cover, let people thought the animals might be tame (?). If the tiger had issued a horn, then it did not hesitate to bite, tear, prey on anyone who interfere.

Choosing a tiger, it was because I like tiger.

Finally...

Water... Why Water? My friend said to me, "Ask the swaying grass."

That's all.🏌️

Cheers.
