The focus in this is great, and I really like the composition; how you've got the whole of the flower (I don't know what it's supposed to be called) in the photograph. Recently I've been taking similar photographs to this too on my gran's butterfly bush. I love taking photographs of butterflies as it can sometimes prove a challenge.

I have never seen a butterfly like that, very colorfull. I could never get too close to a butterfly, before they fly away, and you took 2 pictures. Cool.

hehe actually i took 58 pictures to be accurate but not going to post them all. I actually have a picture of two together
but it was too blured
and they flew away!
Its hard, but theyre determined to get that pollen from the plant! hehe
Thanks!

I am usually lucky and not have to take that many. A steady hand has nothing to do with it, when the wind is blowing.

Great shot, the change in colors is a beautiful contrast. The appature was perfect, you have made a lot of depth of field and that really helps to bring out the butterfly even more.

Yeah they are very jumpy, if u get to close they shoot off. I had to keep the right distance but get close enough for the focus to pick up on all its colours and details just right. Also the sun didnt help
Thankyou! Im glad you like it!

Beautiful colors, but it looks a bit upside down. Could have been shot at a better angle. Love the clarity though.
