I know this comment was posted a long time ago, but you should check out "Cloud The Stallion" page on facebook. [link] It's pretty heart breaking. There's a lot of horses mis-treated in these round ups. One of them had broken their neck because he was stressed because he was seperated from his foal and mare and he wanted to get to them. An Old mare was chased by a helicopter and pretty much hit by it while trying to escape. Two foals also ran their hoofs off pretty much. But check it out it's pretty interesting what you can find out about the BLM

I think that Americans can adopt them almost for free, but I have read that there is a possibility that most of the horses will end up being destroyed for meat
