Very good likeness, nice drawing.
If you can get access to a scanner, it will help make the image more even. If not, my wife suggests using photoshop, painter or any other graphics program to increase the contrast of the image. If you set the tonal midpoint low enough the grays come out as white so you get a more black and white finish.
