D-Angeline β€” 'Project G' Full View

Description Here is the complete "Project G" drawing, a collage commissioned by of Godzilla and his adversaries from the different movies throughout the years. I have worked on and off with this since May, but finally really kicked it into high gear in about November, when I finished inking it on the 9th, and started coloring on the 11th. Completely finished on the 21st.

Obviously, Godzilla in the middle, then from the top middle-right going clockwise is Mothra, Biollante, Space Godzilla, Rodan, the 1st-4th stages of Destroyah (going up along the left side of Godzilla), Gigan, King Ghidorah with its phoenix birth behind it, and Megaguirus. The Japanese at the bottom is "Godzilla".

I really couldn't give an hour count on this, it must be over a hundred. The whole thing was drawn with pencil, inked with india ink and dip pen nibs, then colored with colored pencil on white matte board.

Something tells me that like me you apreciate the 90's Godzilla more than the 70's or Millennium series. So tell me what is your favorite kaiju (aside from godzilla)?

Well, this was all done on commission for so he is the one that picked the characters, I myself really haven't been into that genre, but its pretty cool. Lots of monsters to choose from...lol, in this project I probably like Ghidorah the best.

Hey! Thanks, it has kind of been hiding in my gallery for a while. I know what you mean by cheezy, lol. I saw a couple short videos that had when he came up to get this commission around Thanksgiving. Thanks! The guy I did this for has also been a fan since he was a kid. I actually never knew there were so many Godzilla movies and different monsters! LOL But after doing all the research for this, all of them are pretty interesting, even the bad acting and effects part! Thanks for the also.

I agree, I need to see about fixing that. I really never liked how small the full view is for some reason. It wasn't that way on my computer.

Awesome AWESOME job! The only thing that is kinda unnerving is how small Mothra is, she should be a lot bigger. But other than that the picture is amazing. Biollante and Ghidorah are breathtaking!

Thank you! I knew that it would be difficult trying to get the sizes right, some just had to be downsized because Godzilla had to be the main dude. I know Biollante and Ghidorah are also a lot larger than Godzilla, so I had to place them farther away. So much monster, so little space!!
