This was for something called 'Arts Alive' at our school that spends a whole day celebrating and creating art. This was created on the Chalk Walk portion. Took about 3 1/2 hours.
It is ALOT bigger than in looks in this picture.
I see so many mistakes now T_T I don't think the sunburn was worth it. Th anatomical mistakes were so preventable. I think I had heatstroke or something.

I was inspired from some people previous year who did a cool looking staircase leasing down the the slenderman hiding in the dark. It was insane. I think I'd like to see pasta street art more often!

Yeah. A bunch of people participated in it. I didn't show anything that would break the rules :3 Alot of idiots drew phallic symbols.

Number one rule of art is draw what you whatever the fuck you want. Our school is huge on art, so I'm pretty sure I could have drew murder and got away with it if I justified it.

I've never truly drawn with chalk before, The most i've done with it was make a rose and blend the colors for a good effect.

Like with any medium, all you need to do is practice. It's as simple as that. It is often our mind is our biggest enemy, convincing us that we cannot.
Chalk is a real pain to use though, I'll tell you that.

-I went through 2 black chalks and 6 whites for this DX Thankfully the art teacher was a full supply XD I'd never do this with my own materials I agree. I imagine yours are even more expensive than mine.

I spent too much on mine....Prismacolor. I can't even use them properly XP I SHOULD have gotten charcoals, but I wanted to try other things, now I suffer through and try not to screw up my art. Guess I'll have to get better hahha

That looks really awesome. That face just pierces my soul.
1. Idea: I don't know the character, but from my perspective it looks like a really cool chalk illustration of a creepy murderer! And it you pull it off really well hehe. I didn't even notice the knife at first, I thought it was just clothes wrinkles, but as soon as I did, it made it that much more creepy and awesome. I love that you made him like, waving.
2. Anatomy: The anatomy looks good overall, especially for being a big chalk drawing!!! But proportionally the arms are a bit too short and thin.
That's all I can think of! Fantastic job!!
