Hi guys, I'm alive! <3

I've been working on this for hours, and I'm not really pleased with the result, with that I mean the background.

To be honest, I'm started to become more and more displeased and insecure about my art, I feel like I'm having some sort of personal art crisis?

I want to improve and practise so badly, but I just can't find the time and energy, and it's just really dissapointing.

So no crits please ;n;

Weeeeeeee it's super cute! Honestly, I love the shading on Rhiske and the branch he's walking on is great! Full of texture etc.

Well, I must say that being critical is not bad! If it is frustrating you, however, it could be you just need a break or you just have to pull it through over that top. You could try using another pencil (worked for me several times when drawing traditional, that is) or drawing something completely different. I hope things are getting better already(?)!

OMG as soon as I saw this I was like "yayy it's finally finished!"
Don't be displeased, because this is amazing artwork. The detail in each part of the background, foreground and focus is awesome.

Even if you think you haven't improved, others can see the slight changes in every artpiece. Changes for the better, I might add (:
And everyone can always do something more. Doesn't mean that the current thing is bad.

oefenen, experimenteren, ...
Probeer eens iets meer realistisch of echte cartoonstijl.
Je weet vast in welke richting je wil evolueren. Kijk eens of je zo'n stijl ziet zitten, oefen, probeer, doe eens iets spontaans, ...
