this piece means the world to me.

in essence this is me. but it's also antigone (if you don't know who that is, i'm begging you, either stop reading or if you don't, do a TINY bit of research. please?). it's me because i'm both the horse that's found something mystical and beautiful in a world of confusion, but also the river, mysterious and unreal, belonging to the imagination.

it's kind of like that moment in the movie, spirit, where he sees this shining white light in the distance and doesn't know where it is but knows that he can't pass up the occasion. this is my occasion. this is my unknown. i'm the one stumbling upon something that's unexplainable like this river of many colors, and yet the river is my imagination, wild and frantic and unexplainable.

somehow, it also made me think of the spring in tuck everlasting. beautiful, yet cursed. it's like having an imagination far to great to be purely a gift, which is kind of like i feel. -sigh-
