by the way, my itunes is not installed in the c: drive, say, it is not in the system drive. ><

Maybe this widget requires iTunes to be installed in a particular location. You can probably unzip the widget and update to point at your iTunes install — or — put an iTunes shortcut where the default install location is.
Or else in the 3 years since I made this there have been changes in the way the widget talks to iTunes.

It was designed to be CD sized on a 96dpi (I think) monitor.

It's a skin for CD Art Display (CAD) which is a free piece of software with amazing support that displays cover art if you have it in your media player library (works with iTunes, winamp... heaps) -- it's also really easy to make a basic skin! I found I was only using Y!W to display info about now playing songs, so I switched to CAD.
Plus CAD supports just about any media player you can think of!

It's been a while since I had Y!W installed on my machine so I'm not supporting this widget anymore.

If you are using the latest version of Konfabulator/Yahoo Widgets there might be slight compatibility issue. I need to update this to suit version 4 of the program. I'll try and do this fairly soon (and add the option to scale the size also).

Its fixed, I just had to change the type of disc then change it back

I love it, thats a great idea and a nice widget.
But an adjustable size would be good, and the alternative to choose the color and the size of the font as well.
Altogether a good work

I really would like it if you could adjust the size, it takes up a very large portion of my screen. other than that perfect

I've worked out how to make widgets scalable. So when I have a free hour or so I'll get this widget perfect. Let me know if you think of any features I could implement.
In the meantime, here is another iTunes widget I designed [link] (and this one lets you adjust the size) however it's not quite finished... there are some buttons that don't work *yet*.
