Too bad you didn't portray them in the order of the "You're playing with the big boys now" song. That would have given youtube video makers so many opportunities.

Great work. I love how you draw the gods in modern way, but traditional style.
But I wonder why you did involve Haroeris? He's one of Horus' form. Yeah, it's strange, but the Egyptian gods can have many forms and even can "fusion" with other.

Thank you and you're right about Bastet and Sekhmet. They are not one of the main characters of my book. Unfortunately there is no myth were there playing the leading part.

And just think...that's not even half the Egyptian pantheon!
I love how you've got the traditional egyptian carvings in the background, as well as the more contemporary-style digital drawings in the front. They go really well together!

But in the myth of Osirius and Set didn't he have a crocodile eat a piece of Osirius?

Wikipedia: "When Osiris' body was cut in 13 pieces, Seth scattered them all over Egypt and his wife Isis retrieved all of them except one, his penis, which was swallowed by a fish."
Do you meen this?
In an other myth, both of them mutate into hippos.

Yeah probably. Thanks. I need to brush up on my Egyptian mythology apparently. I remembered it as a croc.

Oh, so lovely. I love Hathor best, I think, but Osiris is fantastic also, and they're all so nice! I love how the anthropomorphic ones don't look silly or out of place among the human ones, and the amount of detail that went into them all. Wow. What was the your dissertation on? :3
