It's HEEEEEEEEEERE!...WTF? Okay, that's just post-work insanity at work there. XD
Anyways, Danny decides to take a little trip into the Mainframe, whilst I tag along due to the lack of something better to do. (shameless self-cameo ^^) And we get intercepted by Agents. Inspirations? None, really. Just wanted to randomly draw something interesting.
It started out as a rough sketch in graphics class, where I was trying to draw the Matrix Agents in DP-style. The Agent in the middle was SUPPOSED to be Smith, but I'm not too happy with the end result. Doesn't bear a resemblance to Hugo Weaving at all... after that, I just added Danny in and myself—Danny's Canada-hailing Asian friend who likes to pretend he's at least 5'11" (I sincerely WISH).
For those of you who've watched Digimon Tamers, hopefully you recognized the Agent on the right. He was s'posed to be a little homage to the government wacko-turned Tamer ally Mr. Yamaki. The background was a screenshot I took in GTA: Vice City from one of the rooftops in the Downtown area. I think it was that helipad near the stadium. I did a bit of Photoshopping with it and gave it a greenish tint. Creating the Ghost Agents...I think the coloring for them is okay at best...I should've spent more time on it and made them glowy-er. I also made the Agents a bit green to fit in more with the whole Matrix-y setting. Also, it's not that clear, but I attempted to draw a cartoony Desert Eagle again for the lead Agent. I'm not a trigger-happy gun fanatic, so I know I got the look wrong.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with how the image came out, but there are a few things I wish I had done a better job on. (namely, Danny's face...Danny fans don't hang me! I did the best I could!)
I was also going to put in some captions but decided against it. I leave it to your creative imaginations to come up with the dialogue. Have fun!
...that's about it. There's no real backstory to why I used the name Mainframe instead of Matrix, or why my jeans are darker than Danny's. Dark blue's always been my favourite color too.

Btw, I definitely welcome any and all tips/suggestions on improving my DP-style drawings!

Some tips for DP style: Hmm, try making the necks a little thicker, the bodies a little thinner, and the arms longer. Other than that you have the style down perfectly. X_X Wish I had the talent and/or time to draw this well. Eh, oh well.

I actually happened to stumble on DP by accident, thinking it was Fairly OddParents. However, when I realized it wasn't, I just continued to watch. The show looked cool either way. Now I'm a fan of both. 
And thanks for saying so! Back when I was drawing the pic, I could SERIOUSLY not come up with a witty quote. And now, a month and several weeks later, I have. Now, I'm thinking something along the lines of...
"Well Danny, you're screwed 'cuz I'm outta here. Nice knowin' ya, man!" Gee, I'm nice, aren't I? XD
And thanks for the tips on drawing in the DP style! Might sound cheezy and cliché, but I'm always looking for ways to improve my art, and it's advice and constructive criticizm that really helps me out! Oh, and one thing I seriously have a difficult time getting the hang of has got to be the arms and hands. That, and I currently suck at doing cool poses. >.<;
And I've seen your art, and I'd say you're definitely good! And I'm sure you've got the talent!
...about the time, err...well, uhh...even if I don't have the time to draw, I somehow go off anyways and make the time. That tends to produce stressful results.

However, I'd definitely like to say that there are tons of other DP art that are way better than mine! And here's a toast (or any other appropriate replacement word) to their artists! I also credit them for the inspiration to try and learn the DP drawing style.

...I solemnly swear I'm not hopped up on coffee or sugar. I'm "allergic" to coffee. And sugar...I don't recall ever getting a sugar high. Then again, I've never even tried to get a sugar high. Ah well...
