Personality: Risken seems like a fairly happy-go-lucky prankster at a glance, usually sporting a big grin on his face. But once you get to know him, he's got an angsty, broody side. He's also a bit shy around girls who try to flirt with him.

Bio: Risken grew up as a poor child in Tiamat City. Like many other children his age, he wanted to become a Hunter when he grew up. His childhood was otherwise boring, if anything.

When Risken was old enough, he enrolled in the School for Hunters and Huntresses. Though he didn't get the best grades, he was a bright student who tried his hardest. He was also a bit of a rebel. He gained a reputation for being a flirtatious badass among his fellow students. With this reputation came popularity, and many girls crushing on him. When he was seventeen, Risken himself crushed hard on a girl named Gwenifer who liked him back. Unfortunately, Gwenifer had a toxic friend named Elaine Corbin who was extremely jealous of both of them, and was determined to keep them apart. When Gwen tried to report her former friend to the authorities, Gwen was murdered in cold blood. This caught the attention of authorities, and Elaine was incarcerated before she could place any death threats on Risken.

To this day, Risken still lives with the guilt of what happened. He barely graduated the School for Hunters and Huntresses, though he's faring better now that he's not in school. He blames himself for Gwen's death, and has sworn off dating and even flirting. Risken started developing a fear of flirty women as well, something he's almost gotten over. Still, he swears to protect the innocent so that the same thing that happened to him and Gwen won't happen to anyone else. Despite all of his guilt, he's been using humor to help himself out. He's currently the 37th best Hunter in Tiamat City, and is part of a team made up of his best friend and ex-vagabond Isaac Ardite, Marianne, and newcomer Cedric Ecoxroid.

Lately he's been having more frequent dreams about Gwenifer, almost as if she had never died. However, these are just dreams and he's just been trying to ignore them. Deep down inside, he knows something's suspicious.

Strengths/abilities: Risken is a crack shot with his dual guns, Risk Taker and Lawgiver. Both have a rapid rate of fire, and he doesn't need to reload when using them. Occasionally, he'll also carry a couple other firearms with him, like a grenade launcher or a flamethrower. When he's not using his weapons, they magnetically attach to his belt. He can pistol-whip if he's in a tight space. He also wears a pair of jet-boots that allow him to hover in place or glide. Aside from that, he's a very fast runner and he knows a little parkour.

Weaknesses: He's not very good at hand-to-hand combat, to the point where he almost flunked out of school during his depression. He's skinny as hell, so that's what gives him a hard time when unarmed. He can still perform some simple kicks, but it's not much. He also suffers from PTSD and guilt, so he has to take medication for it.

- He wears a lot of tattered/undersized clothes because he's poor, and not because he wants to show some skin.
- His backstory was based off of a nightmare I had once.
