Description
It makes me really happy when spring finally arrives in Melbourne. The warm air and abundance of blooming flowers always provides and endless source of inspiration for me after the cold winter months. With this piece I wanted to experiment with a more vibrant and bold colour scheme to celebrate the arrival of spring as well as challenge myself with the task of making multiple characters work in the one composition. I found this to be a particularly challenging paint as I’m used to relying on a dark background to highlight my focal point however, in this case the majority of the scene is bright and busy. This artwork features my character creation of the Pegafly, as you can see they come in all kinds of colours and designs I hope you all like it and I’d love to hear your thoughts 😊🌸🐴🦋
