This is terrific. The sari is such a beautiful dress and you've really pulled off the elegant look.

That Sari is gorgeous! I had an Indian Shepard once (well, I intended him to be Syrian--which he looked in ME1/2, but in ME3 he ended up looking Indian. He was my second Shepard to shift ethnicities in ME3 without me touching a dial
). Amirah is really beautiful.

Gorgeous! I LOVE that shade of blue for the dress, and how the light makes the design glow! The woman herself is like a mix of Jean Grey and Rogue from X-Men. Beautiful!

P.S. What are the origins of that style of dress?

...And then I find this one! OK... Hmm... Would it be possible for me to put this picture (which apart from your description is beautiful but doesn't scream "Mass Effect" lol!) next to one of your others of Amirah in some Mass Effect outfit or setting? I'd like to add this to Mass Effect Female Shepard too but I want to make sure people understand that Amirah is a very important representative of the Many Faces Of FemShep. I don't mind doing it myself - but in case you want to choose the companion piece to go beside this one (or do something special yourself for her), I thought I'd ask first in case you had a preference.

I'd rather not have my art anywhere but in my gallery
but thank you for the compliments

Goodness I'm sorry! Well I just checked our albums and thankfully, despite how fabulous your artwork is (I've seen several of your pictures before - I think there's a biotic one I thought was epic), it does *not* seem to have found its way into our albums from previous admins (once upon a time, the page was not administrated by myself but by other admins who did not cite artists let alone ask for permission from them). So I can assure you none of them are there that I know of, in the places I would have expected to see them (in the FemShep Art and FemShep's Fury folders). Whew! That was a relief! I was almost certain that biotic one was in there somewhere...
Anyway, I can understand artists being reluctant about places like Facebook. I work hard to promote a positive culture of credit-where-credit-is-due regards to things shared, posted and added to albums. I credit myself with getting at least 5 other pages to follow suit when they might not have done so without my suggesting it to them! So... perhaps things are improving. It takes a lot of work, and certainly there are plenty brats out there (actually, shamefully some of them are college art students) who don't care to cite and reference artists properly at all.
In the meantime, I pulled this from our FemShep Art folder because I thought it might be nice to know you're not the only person rooting for ethnically diverse Shepards. This is Indira Shepard by FlyingOverTheGrass who gave me permission to post this piece some time ago:

Not quite as detailed and beautiful as yours, but I love the notion of an N7 sari!
Now, I will *try* not to bother you again, lol, but apologies in advance if I do. Your FemShep is really quite something, so if I forget about this conversation (or that I had it with *you* specifically) next time I see one of your fabulous works of art and bug you again, please forgive me!
If you're on Facebook at all, please feel free to follow either of my pages:
Mass Effect Female Shepard: www.facebook.com/FemShep
Mass Effect Miranda Lawson: www.facebook.com/MiriLawBringerSR2
MEFS has a second admin who is rather fucking awesome actually. She's ex-military and ex-police force *and* occasionally cosplays as FemShep. She's like a real life Shepard!!!! Anyway... Uhh... I write essays. But you've already figured that out. Sorry!
Byeeee for now!
