ah, I don't play the game. The site had the soundtrack up a while back so I snagged it.

I wanna say less stars... and it feels a little to glowy for my tastes... but I do like the concept and the colours.

well, I think that the most important problem of this work is the realism.
First of all, the planets have unrealistic atmospheres, bcause the light doesnt come from all parts, and the atmospheres is visible in all the planet... the second point is that the nearest planet has a bad texture I think, only inproving the textures and the atmospheres this work could be better... but I think that there are other problems.
Well, the starfield and the big lightning arent perfect... but FOR ME the biggest problem is in the planets.
Sorry for my full critic man, and for my english too

woah when light gets trapped in a planet's atmosphere, they can stretch around the planet's circumferance. It's called a corona i think... not sure though. but i do agree with you that the texture on the closest planet are a bit iffy.

the atmosphere can form a "corona" but I think that is when the light comes for example from the right and you see the planet from the left, like in an eclipse... wel, I think

heh, could be i wasn't going for realism in this piece at all though. the blue star is supposed to be far in the foreground, but if it really were a photograph you wouldn't be able to see through the blue star to the rest of the image.
