A soviet wwii soldier rises up from the dead every start of winter till Christmas. he longs to be with his loved ones again and bc of that, he is restless. in order to end his curse, he needs to be cremated by people he holds dear. a rural hermit ends up helping him find his family to put him to rest!
i imagine the series would hold some elements of horror but was mostly a comedy.
