This is definetly one of those things where one thing turns into another. I was originally trying to work on the pose...Then noticed I'd actually done something more interesting with almost everything else. Maybe more practice in the basics?......Related content

IMO (and apparently J Scott Campbell's too) eyes and hands are the most important aspects in drawing characters, because they're the most expressive. Good job on the hands here.
The details around her back are kind of hard to discern without any kind of colour or shading to separate areas and edges. Perhaps you could also look into line weight -- it's about varying the width of the lines to suggest varying pressure in a stroke. It should be easily seen in professional manga art. It's also one of those things that I say takes 20% effort to get 80% improvement in a pic. Another being screentone-type effects.
Lastly, watch the elbows, wrists, knees and ankles placement. They are good markers for proportions.

That..actually makes a lot of sense. I never really thought about that...varying the thickness of lines...wow I'm an amateur.
