Description
I made this out of different pictures I found. I made only a 1024x768 version for now.You may not recognize the man on the right, he is Josip Broz Tito, a former Yugoslavian president. I put him on this picture because he was the first Communist leader who defied Stalin's leadership.
Yes, Lenin is a different color for a reason.
The men on this wallpaper are the few, who I think made some progress in Communism. Theoretical Communism is ideal, sadly only theoretical. There will always be a situation, where one man will have more than the other.
Enjoy, but don't idealise.

This is so true. I'm a socialist, & it makes my blood boil to think of how Stalin (among others) ruined communism for the rest of the world. At least there were good men like these, who knew what true communism was.

I say he wasn't a "model" Communist. Doesn't mean he wasn't a Communist. Just as you have Republican and model Republicans. From my own point of view he wasn't what Karl Marx would have had in mind when envisioning an ideal Communist leader. But, who knows? Maybe his opinion would be of a different tune.

I doubt Marx had any particular "leader" in mind, if by "leader" you mean premier and general secretary. Frankly, I don't care what Marx's personal intent was, and I wouldn't care about Engels's personal intent, Lenin's, or even Stalin's. What I care about is the implementation of socialism according to what can be determined through the dialectical-material method of analyzing history and class.

by that logic Stalin, Lenin and every other state leader of a left wing system was a socialist. Tito was a communist to the end, but had to implement socialism in Yugoslavia for the state to function, as a direct transition from post-war federation to a communist community wouldnt be possible. Lenin did the same.

"COMMUNISM KILLED BILLIONS BILLIONS". Yes, ofcourse it did. A group of words in the Book Communist Manifesto suddenly came alive in 1917 and got arms and legs, climbed out of the book, grabbed an AK-47 and went on killing billions.
To this day, if you write the word "communism" on a piece of paper, it might come alive and kill you and your family.

I would agree with your decision not to put Marx up with the rest of them, but for different reasons- If you're a Marx purist, you could also argue that there has never really been a Marxist revolution due to the fact that none of the countries in which there was a successful Communist revolution possessed a fully-developed system of industrial capitalism. Marx largely envisioned the workers' revolution to overthrow the governments of the traditional western colonial powers, such as France, England, the US, and his native Germany (there were two failed attempts there, though- the 1918-1919 revolution, and the attempt to create the People's Republic of Bavaria).
