My latest piece of work where I have changed my technique and time to spend on this.

It is of an English Setter, lovely breed of dog, and helped me focus working on small, detailed areas for hours at a time.

It is A3 size, and took roughly 25 hours. To me, it is probably my best work to date, no doubt due to the time it took me and attempting to focus on areas for long periods helped.

All done with a mechanical pencil and a B pencil for some of the softer areas.

Mostly, I am really pleased how this turned out, but the ear really did take me forever! I'm not quite convinced with the ear, maybe i will try some softer pencils for that sort of area next time.

Anyway, I hope you like it! Just hope I can concentrate long enough to do some more now

Oh, and I had to scan this in 3 parts, so you might just see where I had to join the parts together, but hopefully its not too noticeable!
