This is how I picture one of my own characters, when she gets the P90 (favourite weapon used in Stargate, of the human variety anyway). Do you know if they changed to P90s around when they entered common use? (Not sure if they'd be standard issue, but they're definitely a popular gun, from what I've read and seen, so...)
Her using a gun like this one will probably be seen as a statement of the progress of technology, considering she uses a bow and arrows, rapier and revolver before this.

Her left hand placement is rather unfortunate, but ignoring that it's a great shot. Same vibes and look as Georgia Moffett in "The Doctor's Daughter." Kind of crazy to see a sight that large on a PDW with an effective range of only about 200 meters, but hey, science fiction!

Thx, the sight is a NV sight, theres no effective zoom. We were just messing around between takes and the actress just picked up the P90, without any previous familiarity with the weaponΒ and posedΒ so I grabbed the shot.

That's just nit picking, it's a nice pic
But you may want to keep this in mind:
Β - Posture: legs are ok but upper body should lean forward.Β
Β - Elbows: Keep'em Β closer to the body, this way you offer less to be hit
Β -Β Finger off the trigger; like her:Β fav.me/d3kg9d0 in this other picture taken by you 
Β -Β Perhaps crouching a bit

A) Real P90 or Airsoft? I'd say real because the magazine is transparent and you can see it's full of ammo, but you can fake that detail pretty easily. B) If it is real, what kind of scope is that, and why the hell is it mounted that way? I'm pretty certain she'd scope herself, on top of not being able to line up the paralax.

Thanks for commenting. The P90 is airsoft (Tokyo Marui). TM have fake rounds in their magazines for that extra touch.
The scope is a prop, based on a PVS-14 (a night vision scope). The scope is mounted there to give improved night vision by sealing against the eye. You're right, its impractical for most purposes, but its mainly to see in dark interiors whilst allowing the P90 to remain shouldered.
