Last night, I had a very fascinating dream.
Something came down in the ocean. It was big, and black, and constructed of jagged strings of metal haphazardly slapped together into random shapes that folded and slid against one another, but in the center was a circle. A perfect circle. It was in the ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and people living in California could go out on the beach and look at it from afar, when the sun set, and it was big and red. It made the entire ocean black like tar, and people couldn’t swim in it anymore. No one tried to study it. No one even attempted to approach it. It never moved. It never did anything else. It just sat there, guarding the sun, and everyone called it The Sentinel.
And then the dream ended, and I woke up.
