Description
This is actually from an original picture that i had found in MorgueFile.com [link]I painted on top of her and edited some things like her facial structures and eyes and etc. As well as added an abundance of color. Took me about an 1 and 30 mins.

well i looked at your gallery and you have phenomenal art. I would suggest getting a picture of a pose or a face (since its more detail) and paint over it changing the skin colors lighting and textures as well as facial structure to create your own. 
with much practice i think we would be able to do it without any pictures to aid us

Reference, always a must.
I've recently started collecting reference for various things. Previously only had references I considered for modeling & texturing in 3D, however after looking at this I can see a lot more potential in those photos. ♥

Ah awesome ,3 work hard in college that as a big door of opportunity that your going through keep at it. Actually i recommend working with pencils and practicing self protraits on yourself with a mirror. It is also said that people who can draw others realistic probably know the person better than they know themselves some i also recommend going to a really public place and stare at people (i scared a few people) lmao

NIiiiiiiiiiiiiiice<3 I don't know why but I really like the hair, it feels very stylized and seems (to me) to make the image that much more 'other worldly'. I love the lips. You should do this kinds stuff moar often! >w<

Again, this piece is really cool! I still think thats such a cool and niffty technique. You should try out more of these.Even Photomanip people to look like yer chars ..and its a good practice
