"Why my dear?" is a poem I write 2004 (in swedish)
I try to translate it the best i can (couse my english sucks)
So please tell me the right word if it's wrong. (the google translator is a shitty thing)

Why, my dear?

Listen, my dear ...do you hear the silence?
So calm and serene, sit back and breathe in the emptiness.

Enjoy it while you can.
Loneliness makes you relax.
... No echo, no sound at all
Just your light and unheard breath.

Look at the wall, my dear ...do you see the mirror hanging over there?
Go over there ...I know you want to go there. The silence ...careful so you do not raise the silence.

Look at the mirror with light caressing glances. Do you see the frame ... the golden frame around the mirror?
Two snakes biting each other at the ends ... eternity.

Look into the mirror, my dear ...take a look at the silence ...Do you see anything?

Close your eyes ...you must close your eyes now! Don't look, my dear ...promise not to look!

Freeze!! ...don't move!
I'm right behind you now ...you can see the dark shadows, licking the wall

Your mirror is a painting ...an illusion of my world.
There is a forest, a field, a lake ...an illusion of my abode.

There is life, there is death...
There is beauty, cruelty, safeness and horror ...an illusion of my kingdom

There swims beautiful snow-white swans ...with chopped heads.
There angels crying on the ground ...with tortured throat.
Above burns the stars, on the distorted sky
There I stand, triumphantly with bloody hands ...there you are ...in a coffin of bones in your bloody-white dress.

Why, my dear ..why did you not listen? ...You would not have turned around ...I told you.

Why, my dear ...why did you looking? ...You would have closed your eyes.
