i am the author of a avatar fic 'sokka; master of the black sword' under the name 'The Jade Knight'
yes i am bragging but it has a point... i wanted you to know that i am a shaper of ideas and master of delivering pain to the characters (haven't gotten to the pain part of the story yet muhahaha) and now that you know who i am and my abilities you will feel the full weight of these words
never in all of my time toiling through the avatar fanfic's have i found a storyline as heartwrenching as this... i wanted to scream at you for doing such horrible things to toph (loved the arrows in the back panel... horribly beautiful) and i desperatly wanted to stop reading because Toph is one of my favorite characters... but you drew me in completly and had an absoultly poetic ending, i was on the verge of tears. in most of the fancomics you see, its all about the art... but you have a story line the likes of which i have almost never seen in ANY genre of fancomics. i give you full props for your astounding workmanship.
a part of me hopes there is a third 'happy ending' page, and a part of me wants you to leave it the way it is with the tragic ending... so do what you planned... its worked out fantasticly so far.
i loved it and i look forward to the rest of you gallery

thank you, for the inspiriational message! I didn't think that the impact would be that heavy, and i thought i messed up the sequence! but I'm really glad you liked it.
Violence, pain etc., it is something we see in the real world everyday, and i just thought that the avatar series lacked some of the it ought to have. i mean cmon, look at how they fight! XD
I will finish this fancomic, i promise!

That picture of Toph with the arrows in her back is horrible. I mean, the pose is perfect and it's beautiful to look at, but horrible at the same time. That drawing of Koh next to it is ONLY THE SCARIEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. And the line about Aang 'not having to leave his beloved, but only his friend' seems very cruel. :/
But, spirits, this is well done. The first part, too, I'll say here, 'cause I'm too lazy to type more. So many emotions come out of this -- I'm keeping an eye on you. O__O
