Some Gift-Art forSorry, no own special Style, just some Phony-Vectors
(yes, mostly done by Brush and patience madness)

For those who care: Marienkaefer is the German word for Ladybug.

Haha, i was waiting until someone discovered the small lack of consistence in the Perspective.
Well, for Solution: Imagine a Step in the Land, about two feet tall, with such Grass ontop. Derpy trots along and suddenly stops because She has found a Ladybug, comfortable at eye height. So, no need for drawing a bending Pony.

Oh, this looks wonderful. Even moreso if you say you did it all without vectors. One thing stands out for me though, and that's the eye's highlights. Shouldn't they be symmetrical on both eyes?

Derpy and the Background was hand-carved out of solid color, with a Brush and a Eraser, no vectors or Paths.
But, only because i didnt know about the Path-tool, the Grass in the Front was already made with Paths, it saves a lot of time and still make it look crisp.
I really should have done this all with Vectors in the first Place...
The Reflections in the Eyes should be (almost) identical with Form and Placement, but not symmetrical.
But i liked it more this way, making them identical in both Eyes let them look simply copied and furthermore boring.

I understand and respect your choice about the eyes, I was just pointing out that unless the light sources are pretty weird(don't take my word for this, I'm not an expert or anything

You're probably right about the wrong, non-existence Light-source, but i bet you know, that the Reflections are extremely necessary to avoid empty-looking zombie-Eyes.
Even if the Reflections are wrong, it looks waaaay better with than without. I can quickly make you an example with Derpy, if you want.

I must not have been very clear, I was voicing my opinion regarding their non-symmetricalness, not saying they should be outright removed. Removing them completely would, as you said, just make them look lifeless.
