Basically placed a backdrop via greenscreen and made it black. Then changed her skin to black via materials and then disabled lighting

how did you turn her black though materials? I get how to make models invisible in some spots using $alpha thing and make models look wet like if they are standing in rain, but cant figure out much else for material override stuff.
Is it a downloaded material or can ya mess with it in sfm itself?
