My own depiction of the famous Chuck Jones cartoon, "What's Opera doc?"I was going to post it sooner, but since I was feeling angsty...oh well
Drawn by hand; then outlined, colored, and shaded on MSPaint (Which is a real pain...)

My mother likes that cartoon and I have it in my Looney Tunes Golden Collection. Both the cartoon and the audio only track. Plus, the cartoon "What's Opera, Doc?" was used as the first stage in the game "LOONEY TUNES CARTOON CONDUCTOR". Very nice.

What's really amazing about this cartoon was the ability of Mel Blanc (as Bugs) & Arthur Q. Bryan (as Elmer) to sing in the character's voices.
Yeah, this cartoon upset me when I was little because Bugs "died". Now I realize that Bugs is really faking being dead, like in other cartoons where he'll act like Elmer has shot him (when Elmer has really missed him by a mile).

Personally, I don't really like What's opera doc, probably because of what happens to Bugs at the end, though the closing line is good. But I still love this picture. Perhaps you could do one for rabbit of seville, just a suggestion.

I get so into this cartoon. I've memorized the lyrics! (I listen to it quite often on my mp3. Yes, I'm a nerd.) The ending is just so wonderfully dramatic, "no!" I yell to the screen, then Bugs says "What did you expect in an opera, a happy ending?"
I probably will draw something from Rabbit of Seville, another one of my favs....(I have that one on my mp3, too...)
