April 8th this year was a momentous day, a day when a once-in-a-lifetime cosmic event took place. A total solar eclipse (within a narrow zone of “solar eclipse totality” heading northeastwardly) across north central Mexico, the continental United States, and Canada from Niagara Falls to the island of Newfoundlands—and a partial solar eclipse everywhere else in North America.

However you got it from wherever in North America you live, hope you enjoyed the spectacle.
And hope you also remembered NOT TO LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN.

: Of course, AFAIK, doing things outdoors is perfectly safe during a solar eclipse!
