This photo is so good that the statues looks like real flesh...
Great job.

That's my visual and aesthetic goal...I want hyper realistic pictures ! I love this ambivalence between skin and stone, statue and human ! ...I think statue have a "soul" I can feel it when I took the pictures !
I must say that I retouched every pictures for the spots and details on the "skin" ...the eye must surf sensualy on these images !
Thanks very much for your support ! I'm glad you came back at D.A...

I feel to be a Man, a person before to be a photographer..it's maybe pretentious or strange but my Art and spirituality are into the "Light"...
Thank you my Friend !

Its very dynamic. Now I definately have to go to The Louvre one day, maybe in the summer even. I also want to see a certain paint by Leonardo there as well.
This would make a great print.

Yep it's quite grainy ! I love grain so much it's much nicer than any filter on Photoshop !
I worked in 400 iso for this picture !
Thanks very much for your comment !

ya photoshops "grain" filter is so dumb! its like just a bunch of static type pixels placed over the picture T_T
makes me sad

Sometimes I used Photoshop filter's but I never find one to add grain ! I always like my old 24x36 Nikon with a 3200 iso Tmax pushed to 1 stop ...

I'm using Photoshop 7, so it might be different, but under the Artistic section, there is a filter called Film Grain.
I'm actually gonna be submiting a bunch of really Old Black and White photos(soon) that I took for while in highschool. I've been wanting to scan in the negatives for ages, and my friend lent me her scanner
There're have some scratches on them and such but aw well, I liked some of the pictures XD
its also on ISO 400 film
