Description
Simple macarons with strawberry buttercream and some chopped almonds sprinkled on top.I really liked the colour combination and how you can still see tiny pieces of strawberry in the buttercream. The american buttercreams are way too sweet for me though.

Oh, I guess there are several ways to make strawberry buttercream. For this batch I think I made some pudding with strawberry purree and added it to the beaten butter and sugar.

And I agree. Commercial icing, no matter what part of the world you live in, can be a bit much. It's why I opt for making my own. x3
