It's an awfully thoughtful thing to do. I'll be keeping the portraits of Pepper and myself up in the gallery as well, just in case someone comes in and wants a pencil drawing, and I can send them your way. "Hey, and it's imported! From England!"

Thta reminds me! A lady came into the shop the other day and wanted me to antique a map she had of the last voyage of the QE2 last September. She had gone on the trip and said they stopped in Newcastle and a few people came out to see - they handed her a British flag to wave.

It sounded as though she enjoyed Newcastle the most of all the stops on the trip. It took a while for the ship to get into the Tyne, but the people all waited patiently. She said it must have been the biggest thing to hit Newcastle in years.
