you're welcome! I was anticipating the completion of that one. It's really awesome! I love it! Your work still astounds me. I still remember that picture of Alan Rickman as Snape you drew. That was badass too! ^_^ You're creations are inspiring.

I'm really honoured you think so Heather, I always feel there is something lacking in my work that makes everyone elses stand out, i think partly as i'm always trying to do more and better the next time round

well that's a healthy way to be. Always trying to improve on what you do, but of course you already knew that. ^_^ I'm just reiterating. I've got that same mentality. I want to do better every time, and if I don't I always feel compelled to get rid of what I have just drawn. =/ I still need to go back through my gallery and clean it up a bit. There's some stuff up that I'm probably going to redo. Figure why not. See how far I've come from where I was at. ^_^

yeah I'm with you there. I have a whole art book set up in my library filled completely with all this art of mine that at the time I honestly thought was good. I have trouble even looking at it now. =/ It's amazing what we think is "good" when we're younger. Like when I was six years old. I had done this water color painting of a fish. It was a Japanese style fish. I thought it was brilliant and even all up to about a couple years ago I had been looking for it because I had this idea in my head that it was a really good painting that I ought to be proud of... Well I found it. I wasn't that impressed anymore. I guess our mind warps reality sometimes. =/ It was terrible.

But was it terrible, you have to remember you were 6 i remember through out my school years my art was always praised at the time, i could look back at that now with a different view, but after leaving school i neglected the skills i had then for 20 odd years until i found this place, it's one big learning curve Heather, even the best are still learning, and what is art in our eye's isn't in others, I hate to see these people who sell so called paintings where they have just threw a tin at a canvas and call it art, when someone paint's a fantastic landscape and can't sell it. Art's a strange subject and everyone has their own style. you are looking at a painting you done when you were very young which was and probably still is the best you done at that time of your life
