Sorry I couldn't reply faster, I'v been grounded from everything I love (I still am...)

But anyway! In my opinion, I think it's a very good novel.

The book is set in the future (I think about 100 years) And North America has broken apart into 12 districts. Each district supplies a resource to the Capitol, AKA, the head city.

The Capitol is also responsable for the Hunger Games, a crule "game" that selects two children from each district to take part in the game. They are also called Tributs.

To win the game, you must KILL every other tribute.

The main character is Katniss. She leaves for the Arena (where they hold the games) with the thought that she won't last a day.

Again, I think it's a VERY good book, but if violence isn't your thing, then ok. But the book also has a bit of humor and romance in it as well.
