Description
John Rolfe from Disney's 'Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.' While I adored the character of Rolfe, I absolutely loathed the shoddy artwork. Unfortunately, it did him absolutely no justice. So, I figured that I would try to capture him a bit closer to the first movie's standards. Not sure I succeeded, fully, but I am pleased with it.Related content

It looks really great but the hair to face ratio is slightly off. Make the hair a bit bigger or the face a bit smaller and it'll be flawless.

Hrm. Hair-to-face ratio? Height of the hair? Width? Overall volume? Maybe in the back? I can see in the back. Otherwise, I don't think he's too different in those proportions from John Smith in the original Disney's 'Pocahontas.'

Exactly what I meant, the height of the hair. He's not too different. I'm just saying if you're going for perfect. This is still very good.

You didn't specify height, you said make it "bigger." John Smith's hair wasn't all that high, which is why I asked.
An example from the movie is here: [link]
Looking at it, I wonder if I actually made his hair too high. O_o All the characters in the original movie had sort of flat heads.

Okay but John Smith isn't John Rolfe lol

Gah, that link is a pain in my butt, it's supposed to be one of Smith. Meh, here's one, he's looking a little pin-headed, and they give him weird bangs instead of just one or two sections of hair that just separate from the herd.

Of course not. But, the animation quality went to crap in Pocahontas 2, which is why I was trying to make John Rolfe look more like he might in an actual feature-quality film, like the first one, if the animation for the second had been nearly as good as the first. Since he wasn't in the first, I used John Smith as a basis for comparison.
For example, John Smith from the second movie: [link]
I may not have made his bangs quite as "fluffy," as they are in the second movie, but I didn't think that would be a glaring issue.
That said, thank you for the comment. If I have the layered file for this, still, I will see if making the hair "bigger" looks better.
