Description

Okay, just briefly breaking off from IT for a bit so I won't burn out (going back to work on it tonight actually), but I decided to actually play around in 's Sandbox (with permission) and they willing to let me play with their arrogant and mildly egotistical (just my opinion, so it's not worth anything) civilization of space faring Amazons called the Naerids.

You can find them in the gallery folders on Chainedknees page under "The Cybotic Gambit" and "The Naerid Agenda".

Okay, the story here:

The Star Confederacy (kind of a parody of the Federation from Star Trek), in an effort to one-up their enemies, the Naerid Matriarchy (take the Amazons of Greek Myth, merge them with Romulans, and make them nastier than the Amazons of the DCU...and there you go...again...just my lame opinion), decided to develop a super-soldier of sorts using recently discovered alien technology.

It appeared to be a success...until their experiment broke loose and all contact with the facility went dark shortly after that, but not before one of the scientists (who was a Naerid agent) managed to send out a distress signal which was picked up by the Naerid's Oracle Division (The Naerid's intelligence branch).

The NSS Athena was dispatched to investigate the research station quietly hidden in the Terus asteroid belt of an uninhabited system. Prioress Adriana, a member a Naerid Special Ops agent has managed to breach the facility. What she finds will possibly upset the status quo in the known worlds and quite possibly bring about their end.

Okay...that's pretty much it. I have one of two ways this could go...and I asked ChainedKnee what I should go with.

Didn't get an answer....so I'll flip a coin.

Playing around with some minor props and stuff...also experimenting again with layers and dead bodies.
