Description
I got nostalgic and drew this scene from that Super Nintendo classic, "Turtles in Time" with my favorite TMNT characters, Bebop and Rocksteady. The funny thing about this Boss fight was that you only had to defeat one of them to pass the level; as soon as either Bebop or Rocksteady had zero energy they would start fighting each other until they were knocked out. I like those guys.

Further proof that Shredder really should start covering all of his mutants in football helmets and heavy padding!

I remember this. XD Not the first time you were pitted against two bosses at once in the game, but the end result was the funnier of the two fights.
Outstanding job recreating from one of the best beat'em up Turtles games ever!

Glad you liked! I think the entire Bebop and Rocksteady fight was made for that punchline of the two knocking each other out (hence the odd reason that you only need to defeat one of them to pass the level). Other multiple boss fights, such as Tokka and Rahzar or Shredder and his clones (from the first arcade game) were a bit more difficult.

Still had trouble with the final boss battle with shredder/super shredder.
Super Shredder was portrayed in that secret of the ooze film by WWE character Kevin Nash.

I was always paranoid as to whether or not Super Shredder COULD be damaged, since his "hit" sprite made it look like he was just blocking attacks (compare to Slash's "nut shot" and Leatherhead's "drunken stupor dance").

My favorite part of the game!...of course, Bebop and Rocksteady are my favorite part of any TMNT game.

Yep. That's what made the SNES version so much better than the Arcade port. In the Arcade, you take on Tokka & Rahzar. Here, Tokka & Rahzar are in Stage 4 with a Shredder fight following after.

Rocksteady: For the master!
Bebop: No, stop you idiot! OOF!
Rocksteady: Be quiet Bebop. This ain't easy tryin' to kill the turtles, they punched Me in the eyes!
Bebop: well that explains it. OW!

It's too bad they didn't appear in the Reshelled version, they would've been awesome to fight.

The redo had a lot of missed opportunities; here's hoping they make a "Rereshelled" version.

One of the few instances where the home port actually SURPASSED the original arcade version.

My guess is that Konami wanted to use Tokka and Rahzar as boss characters, to reference the second TMNT movie. Why not use both pairs of henchmutants? It even worked in TMNT III: The Manhattan Project, for NES!

Don't forget Super Shredder, that game did have a surprisingly large amount of bosses from the cartoon AND movies.

This is fantastic. I especially like how you nailed their hit animations with the zig-zagged sword and the way Bebop's glasses flip up. Just awesome.

Glad you enjoyed! Some of the bosses in that game had really funny "hit" sprites, like dancing Leatherhead or "OW! My Crotch!" Slash.

It would look like Rocksteady was put in charge, but then again Bebop doesn't look like someone who would follow figures of authority (except, of course, Shredder and Krang).
