Description
I have drown a samurai for a contest I have won *happy*. ^0^I love him *q* and the colouring has token me about 2 hours.
I have used watercolour.
I don't really like his arm which is too contracted, but I find I have succeeded the sinew. ^c^

This is a very awesome piece, I really love it.
My only problem with it might be the hand. It is well drawn, but either it is a left hand on his right arm, or his thumb is away from the blade. I don't know much about katana, maybe that is a particular way to hold it, but I don't think that hand position could pull off any of the moves I have seen a katana do.
However, aside from that, I do love him. His stance is awesome, and all the folds in his clothes are so intricate. The coloring is beautiful.

I like your samurai very much, and the arm is actually just right... I teach Iaido and have spent 4 years training with high quality katana so I know what the arm looks like after a shibori (slinging the blood off the blade) which is what it looks like he just did.

That is amazing. The colours are fantastic, and this is one of the best samurai pieces that I've seen. My only nitpicks are that the sword is a bit hard to see against the white background, and I'm fairly sure his right hand is on backwards. But those two little things aside, this is fantastic.
