Description
This is more a test than anything. I set up a new way to create nebulae. They can now be created on one click, endless variations, every resolution. I am nowhere near finished but I like the current results well enough to share them with you. Put a quick planet on top and a.lensflare and here we go.UHD wallpaper

One click nebula in Photoshop? I'm so curious to your setup!! Nebula looks nice nonetheless and the name does go well with it.

Not in Photoshop, in Nuke. I mix various noises, distort and blend them, use edge filters to grab and highlight parts. The advantage of Nuke is that everything is node based, so I can just change the input noise and get a totally new nebula.

I'm curious to try this but I've never worked in a program other than Photoshop. Is Nuke hard to learn? Do you have any tutorials that might be helpful for me to learn this?

Nuke is a compositing program for movies, so most of it is meant for moving images. If you only know Photoshop, it might be a bit hard to understand the node based workflow. But once you get it you dont ever want to do anything without nodes. I prefer Nuke to Photoshop for anything, except actual paintin/drawing.
You can get a free noncommercial version of Nuke hereΒ www.foundry.com/products/nuke/β¦Β Β if you want to give it a try.
A good starting point with tutorials is here:Β www.foundry.com/products/nuke/β¦

I was looking for a title and the green color made me think of some biological reaction going on on the planet.Β

This is Earth? Description says it's just a random planet. It doesn't look like anything is living on it.

I would go with "earth like planet". As the description says, I haven't given this one much thought. I am honestly surprised about the attention it gets instead of other, much better works, both by me and other artists.
