www.deviantart.com/daedalusred…These are phantom knights created by the S.H.E.B, like others their kind they’re created through a ritual that binds the knights soul to his armor transforming them into an undead Knight that will do what ever it’s creator commands it to do often orders to guard something or a location. These phantom knights specifically are different creatures in that they have powers and abilities that are not common to such automatons. Despite being different they still follow the same rules of their existence, their soul orb remains their weakness and it’s destruction will free the soul killing the knight. As with its kind the armor rapidly begins to rust and the bones inside disintegrate into dust on death. These phantom knights unlike others don’t seem to have the same sense of honor for they attack on sight rather then having a line that one must cross to make the Knight attack, common phantom knights give a warning in the form of it drawing it’s weapon pointing to the trespasser or holding up its hand in “halt” like manner. After ignoring these warnings then the knights attacks as they have been challenged. If the trespasser prevails then they kneel in submission and offer their weapon to the victor of which the he/she will strike the Knight down ending their servitude. These variations will not do any of these things, if one gains the ire of these aggressive and merciless guardians they will not stop until the trespasser is dead or they are.
In the homeland of the S.H.E.B they’re many ancient sites and temples scattered everywhere deep beneath the snow and ice. These Guardians protect the treasures of the empire from all that would pillage them. They’re even rumors of such Guardians that wander and randomly attack any they find in the land making for a dreadful sudden fight for survival.
Known powers and miracles:
Grand Holy Light- Fully heals.
Grand Regeneration- Miracle that casts a very large AoE that slightly recovers more health of those within range.
Grand Faithful Spear- Hurls a greater black and golden spear, being much more powerful it can outright penetrate all armors. The faith required for this one is even greater and those who can conjure this power are respected for they have a faith that is not easy to achieve.
Holy Barrier- A golden divine magical shield that covers the casters body fully protecting them from all damage. The caster will not be harmed until the shield is destroyed. Coincidentally when struck by an attack the shield makes a sound reminiscent of a bell toll seeing as the belfry empire created this miracle and that bells and chimes are prominent objects and images within the empire.
Judgement- A dark miracle that inflicts great pain before instantly killing its victim.
Blessed Weapon- Can bless any weapon with divine magic to deal great damage and as a minor benefit the spell passively but slowly regenerates the weapon wielders health. The spell causes the weapon to have a brilliant golden glow.
Grand Enrapture- Deals greater damage and has a wider AoE.
Silence- A miracle that was devised for combating magic users. The spell functions similarly to Magic Jamming but inflicts great crippling pain on the caster for its duration. The crippling pain is meant into incapacitate mages allowing for Belfry knights to easily slay them.
True Oath of the Bell- The most powerful version of “Oath of the Bell” that greatly reduces damage and greatly increases the casters attack power.
Baneful Blessing- Caster prays to conjure a damaging AoE around a target. This spell is among the “dark miracles” albeit the lesser of them but still as dangerous as a lurking and prowling evil spirit. Coincidentally this miracle does more damage to non-humans.
Teleportation- They often spawn in and out of a location in the form of a great black and golden lightning bolt that strikes the ground making a big explosion.
